Asset UPnP { Help Index > macOS Specifics }
Installation
The very first time Asset starts, macOS will ask for permission for it to access the local Network and the Music Folder, click allow. By default Asset will index all audio found in the Music folder.
Note: If upgrading from Trial to Registered, run the installer and choose the option to replace Asset.
Starting Asset
Asset is started by clicking the Asset icon in Apps. When running, Asset will appear as an icon on the icon bar (top right), click this icon to configure Asset Settings.
Later on it is possible to revisit those permissions through:
Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Local Network
Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Media & Apple Music
If your music files are stored elsewhere on the computer, then Add Asset into the Full disk access section, by clicking [+] on that page.
